I am using net-snmp 5.7.3 on an embedded linux platform. I have added the createUser directive in the persistent snmpd.conf
Each time I startup the system/ or restart the daemon, the snmpd file is appended with the default persistent snmpd.conf headers, and then another copy of the user I wanted to create.
I suspect that it is due to the fact that my persistent snmpd file is initialy just a blank file with the createUser directive. I am trying to create a setup that will require the least local user interaction (for example having to edit the persistent snmpd.conf file to create a user), and therefore would like the initial user to be setup at first boot.
Any tips/ideas welcome.
